Hawaiian Airlines (Honolulu) has announced a new scheduled route which will connect Tokyo Narita and Honolulu the capital of Hawaii. The new flights will start on 23 July 2016 and will be operated with Airbus A330-200s on a daily basis. Currently there are also direct flights between Tokyo Harenda and Oahu, Honolulu.

American Airlines will start new daily flights from Los Angeles Airport (LAX) to Tokyo Haneda (HND), the daily flights will be operated all year around and the service will start on 11th February 2016 with Boeing 787-8 Dremaliner aircraft in 2 class configuration with 28 seats in business class and 150 in economy. The new service come as a result of the cooperation through OneWorld Alliance of American Airlines and Japan Airlines, as it is expected it will be a very popular route which come to close a gap in direct services from the east coast of USA and Japan.

Japan Airlines (JAL) has start again the flights between Osaka and Los Angeles, the daily flights are operated with Boeing 787 Dremaliner aircraft in 2 class configuration with 42 seats in business class and 144 in economy. The high demand from Osaka/Kansai to LA has make JAL to resume this schedule after 8 years of inactivity.

Peach Aviation has announce that is planning to open a new base - it will be its fourth - at Sendai airport at the northeast of Japan. Currently there is a single schedule which is operated from its base in Osaka. The plans for the new base will be effective for summer 2017. The residents of Sendai looking for development in their area as on 2011 the earthquake and flood hit the city with dramatic influence in economy and  infrastructures.



1 March 2015

Jetstar Japan, start operations with its first international flight from Osaka (Kansai) to Hong Kong. The new flight will be operated three times per week with departures every Saturday, Tuesday and Friday (till 28 March) and then every Wednesday, Friday and Sundays for the spring/summer schedules. Prices start from 55$ for one way flight including all taxes, the duration of the flight is 2 hours and 15 min. There are considerations for new routes from Narita and Osaka bases later this year.

JAL (Japan Airlines), has announce that will expand its WI-FI internet service to both domestic and international flights.

Peach Aviation, just few days ago started a new direct service from Okinawa to Hong Kong. The new schedule will be operated 4 times per week with Airbus A320s aircraft and ticket prices start from 57$ for one way travel, the duration of the flight is about 2 hours and 25min.
